“This is not the first time I've been training with Trina, but it is the most consistent time. The goal for this time was to improve overall health and activity level coming out of COVID having gained nearly 30 lbs.
As a fitness and portrait photographer, I move all around my clients and have to be agile. I also spend a lot of time sitting as I edit and perform admin work. I felt sluggish, fatigued easily, my back was always hurting and I felt generally uncomfortable in my body at the size I was.
Within 6 months of weekly check-ins, workouts, and more, I've felt more energetic, belt notches were getting smaller, and experienced less pain! Strength and stamina improved and continue to do so. With her nutrition guidance and meal-planning consistently, I've also seen great success.
Now a year later, I actually see the shadows of abs showing up! I can't remember the last time I've seen that or if ever. “Katrina helped me achieve my initial weight loss goal and I'm down over 40 lbs and counting! She helps me holistically from a mental, nutritional and physical standpoint because I've learned it's all intertwined.
With the plan that I'm on with Katrina she gives me a workout plan to follow (with videos!), a daily task list that I can check off (hitting 10k steps, drinking X amount of water, getting 8 hours of sleep, etc.), she tells me the calorie range and macro nutrients I need to hit each day to reach my goal, and we have weekly check ins but I can always reach out directly and chat, which has been very helpful.
The tasks, nutrient goals and exercises she gives me are custom tailored to me and are based on our conversations and feedback of what I like or don't like so if something is not effective for me we immediately change it up. She always provides me an email with notes from our weekly check in and helpful side tips like parking far away at the grocery store to get more steps in or X brand of jello at Whole Foods is a great alternative for a sweet tooth.
